Pygmy Tarsier

Holy midget monkeys, Batman! Check this thing out… while this may LOOK like something straight outta the Weekly World News (not that there’s anything wrong with that), this story is certifiably, guaranteed TRUE! A tiny primate called a “pygmy tarsier” has been rediscovered in the mountains of Indonesia! Click here for the full story.

The look like they’d make great pets!

I enjoy failure. Other people’s failure. Particularly if they are stupid. It’s my guilty pleasure. That’s why I love Fail Blog. This is the kind of wonderful shit that can be found on Fail Blog, enjoy!

Define “Ripxoid”

November 15th, 2008 | Category: Bullshit

The word “ripxoid” is not yet in the Urban Dictionary, but I think it’s high time it was added. But how would we define ripxoid? Post your suggestions in the comments area. Thanks!

What God Wrought Iron?

November 13th, 2008 | Category: Web

I seem to recall an ezine of this name from way back… maybe 1996 or ‘97. I believe Bill Streeter and Doug Eskew were involved. What ever became of it? Does anyone know?

Just wondering.

La Pequeña Sarah Palin

November 10th, 2008 | Category: Politics, Video

Yes, you can even post videos from YouBoob, Blip, Ning, etc. right here using the “embed codes” offered on each site. Just be sure to add the embed code into the “HTML” tab when you write a post, not the “Visual” tab.

Above is an educational film about Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin that Scooby found appropriate to share with everyone. Kudos for that, Scoob!

Here’s Lookin’ at Chew

November 10th, 2008 | Category: Bullshit, Photos

This is an example of a photo post. In this particular photo (above), you can see TomQ feeding his face while Bill gives him the Evil Eye. Also note Bill’s choice of shirtwear in this pic. You, too, can have your very own Ripxoid shirt by simply visiting the Ripxoid Store and BUYING ONE (hint, hint). Sorry, no, we do not sell the Duff Beer trucker caps like Tom is wearing. You’ll have to ask him where he got that… Prolly Wal-Mart’s or something.

Blog or Die!

November 10th, 2008 | Category: Bullshit

Yep, this is it. The very first post on a very new blog. Ah yes, just what the world needs, right? More blogs! Yeah, well, so what? Everyone has something to say (even if it isn’t entirely original) and I think us ‘xoidians have just as much if not MORE wacked-out, cool, crazy, funny or just plain INTERESTING stuff to say as any other group of geeks, so let’s make this happen.
